Hawaiian and Guamanian Cabotage Antitrust Litigation

Pearson Warshaw, LLP is currently involved in a class action lawsuit that alleges violations of the federal antitrust laws with respect to domestic ocean shipping services between the continental United States and Hawaii and/or between the continental United States and Guam.

The defendants in the case are domestic ocean shipping carriers, or owners of domestic ocean shipping carriers, that transport cargo between ports in the United States and its territories and possessions.

The action was brought on behalf of all persons and entities in the United States, and its territories and possessions, who purchased domestic ocean shipping services directly from the defendants, and is currently pending in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
